The year of the Tiger is upon us again, this the 13th celebration of the Red Lantern Feast in Dregate. Our cooks are well known throughout the inlands and the Honorable Lord Conuil the Carrick is among these honored cooks. He is preparing a Mongolian “White Feast” for your pleasure. To entertain us the evening long, His Lordship Ihon MacFearn the Champion of bardic for Dregate, is organizing a Bardic Competition. Contact him for details at ominor32@hotmail.com . Okanogan County Fairgrounds Annex Building, 175 Rodeo Trail Drive, Okanogan, WA 98840.

The site is discreet.  The site opens at 5 pm; feast will begin at 6 pm.  Site closes no later than midnight.

The site fee for pre-registered gentles will be $12 for adults ($3 non-member surcharge), $5 for youth 7-14, 6 and under are free; Family cap of $30.  If you arrive without a reservation The fee is $15. for adults (+$3 non-member surcharge), $7. for youth 7-14, 6 and under are still free.  Make checks payable to SCA, Inc, Shire of Dregate. As it is February in the Okanogan snow will most likely be on the ground, for those that would like to make Hotel Accommodation here is a short list of the available hotels within 10 miles of the site.

Directions:            Make your best route to Okanogan Wa.

From the south, take the 2nd Okanogan exit on your left off of Hwy 97, from the North, take the first Okanogan exit on your right off of Hwy 97. Follow down a short hill to the intersection of Rodeo Trail. Take a right, follow appx. 1.5 miles, following SCA signs, take a left into Okanogan County Fairgrounds. Follow signs for parking, and building location.

 

  The fairgrounds are in Okanogan (North Central Washington), two hours north of Wenatchee and one hour south of Osoyoos, BC, on Highway 97. Take the northern Okanogan exit (west) marked for the Okanogan County Fairgrounds. Turn right (north) at the bottom of the hill onto Rodeo Trail Road. Follow the road for one mile. Site is on the left. Former site of two May Crown events.
